The Kelley family set out to adopt from the Demcratic Republic of Congo in 2012. They had no idea how challenging this journey would be and how it would eventually lead them to adopt a little girl in China as well. God worked a miracle and brought both girls home on the same day, March 10th, 2016.

There, he met with Ricardo, the kid featured in the ESPN/Grantland documentary "Son of the Congo". Serge stays in touch with Ricardo and encourages him to stay positive and work for his dreams.
