The Kelley family set out to adopt from the Demcratic Republic of Congo in 2012. They had no idea how challenging this journey would be and how it would eventually lead them to adopt a little girl in China as well. God worked a miracle and brought both girls home on the same day, March 10th, 2016.

As usual, Serge Ibaka travels back home in the summer. In 2015, he went back to his hometown Brazzaville, the capital of the Republic of Congo. There, he met with Ricardo, the kid featured in the ESPN/Grantland documentary "Son of the Congo". Serge stays in touch with Ricardo and encourages him to stay positive and work for his dreams. The Democratic Republic of Congo is home to a tenth of the world's languages. In the capital Kinshasa, Cocolette Collo was born a Luba, a people who come the central part of the country mainly in the troubled Kasai region. But, she cannot speak Tshiluba. United Nations troops, Irish troops of the First Infantry Group Eastern Command, are back in Dublin after six months spent in foxholes and under canvas in the Congo. They fought beside Swedish troops in the now famous "Battle of Kamina", in which (without suffering loss) they beat off 2,000 tribesmen.
